Technology as a Tool for Lesson Planning and Design (ED/B 9458)

    Tuition: $179.00

    Units: 3

In this course, the focus is to learn how to integrate and effectively utilize technology in the planning and delivery of lessons. As teachers design a lesson integrating technology, they will be asked to take into account the learning needs of all students and create groupings to facilitate differentiation. As materials are collected they will be evaluated through an equity lens to determine how they can be used to support the learning of all students. After the lesson is taught, teachers will share reflections about the lesson, as well as provide feedback to other teachers.

    Web-based Materials and Interaction

As a course about technology, this course will rely heavily on your use of technology. Therefore, all course materials and content will be online. This includes the syllabus, assignments, and announcements. We'll be using a threaded discussion group (within the assignment area) as well as a class mailing list.

Note: Your final course project requires a classroom environment to complete. If you take this course during a time when class is not in session, please work with your instructor to complete the assignment when you can teach the lesson plan you've developed.

No sessions are available for this course.

Application for credit is available after you enroll in a course session. You should apply for credits within 6 months of the completion of the course.
