The Fairfield-Suisun BTSA Induction program provides job-embedded professional development and has developed varied options to fulfill the state-required professional development requirements mandated by the state of California. Our program design incorporates online coursework and face-to-face seminars in order to meet the varied needs of our teachers. This format provides participating teachers with a forum to explore and discuss topics of interest and importance in their work and the ability to extend and apply what they have learned in their teacher preparation programs to the context of their work.

Online courses are offered to SB2042 and Ryan credential holders in the following categories:

1. Induction Standard 16: Using Technology to Support Student Learning
2. Induction Standard 18: Creating a Supportive and Healthy Environment for Student Learning
3. Induction Standard 19: Teaching English Language Learners

Courses are open to qualified teachers who wish to earn continuing education units (salary credit) and/or graduate level semester units. All courses are university approved and are optimized for classroom application.
